CDW has acquired Sirius Computer Solutions, a leading integrator of technology-based solutions. The acquisition will enhance CDW’s offerings for hybrid infrastructure, digital and data innovation, and security, as well as cloud and managed services.
Sirius’s capabilities include helping NEBCO, a family-owned organization serving Nebraska and nearby states with concrete and other building materials, to update its aging data center with a secure hybrid cloud solution based on VMware Cloud (VMC) on Amazon Web Services. The move enabled the company to reduce costs and improve performance while increasing its IT recoverability and scalability.
“We are excited to officially welcome the talented Sirius team to CDW,” said Christine A. Leahy, CDW’s president and CEO in a press release. “Through this transaction, we meaningfully expand and scale our services and solutions capabilities and further enhance our ability to solve customers’ increasing interconnected and complex technology challenges.”
“The addition of Sirius strengthens our role as the trusted technology advisor to our customers, with the expertise and portfolio breadth, depth and scale to orchestrate complete customer-centric outcomes across the full technology solutions stack and lifecycle,” Leahy continued. “I am confident in our ability to leverage our common values and collective unparalleled expertise to deliver the best customer and partner experiences and create value for CDW shareholders.”
“We have long admired CDW and welcome the opportunity to bring our complementary services and solutions capabilities to serve a broader market of customers as a combined company,” Joe Mertens, Sirius’s president and CEO, said in a press release. “Sirius and CDW share common values and a performance-driven, customer-focused culture.”
