Cisco Live 2014: A Whole New Internet-Connected World
Cisco Live 2014, which is being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, has covered a seemingly endless number of topics and spawned just as many conversations and announcements. For those not in attendance who are keeping tabs on the #CLUS hashtag, the stream of updates can be more than a bit intimidating. Here are some of the standout moments we've observed during the conference.
Big data and the Internet of Things have so far taken the spotlight, with Mala Anand, senior vice president of Cisco Services Platforms Group, and Doug Davis, general manager of Intel's IoT group, participating in Wednesday's keynote on the "Internet of Everything Ecosystem":

Earlier in the day, members of Cisco Empowered Women's Network tackled the importance of innovation and the bravery needed to be at the forefront:

There are still plenty of goings-on, from the show floor with nearly 200 exhibitors in attendance to Thursday's keynote featuring Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy.
