Milliennials are those cool kids born in the late 1970s through the early 2000s. They go by many names, like Generation Y or digital natives, but they bear a few common traits. Cymphonix, an Internet management solutions provider, highlights a few of these traits in its infographic on millennials.
- Millennials have an increased use of technology compared to previous generations.
- Millennials use many forms of communications.
- Millennials access many forms of media regularly.
More than previous generations, millennials care about flexibility, choice and freedom. That means businesses need to be equipped with mobile-friendly policies and remote-access options if they hope to retain millennial workers. According to data from Cymphonix, 50 percent of millennials say they would rather have no job than a job they hate.
