At this year's Cisco Live! in San Diego, Ted Leonsis, owner of the NHL's Washington Capitals, NBA's Washington Wizards and WNBA's Washington Mystics, talked about how his company is partnering with Cisco to deliver an elevated game day experience at the Capital One Arena, home to all three teams. The venue is undergoing a major renovation that will incorporate a technology upgrade that includes a Cisco command center, smarter networking, increased physical security and AI use cases to reduce friction for attendees, athletes, coaches and all the staff working at the arena.
