HPE Discover 2021: What to Expect at This Year’s Event

The annual conference will focus on digital transformation powered by data, from the edge to the cloud.

Data continues to be the driving force behind digital transformation, and decisions made during the pandemic have created opportunities exceeding what IT leaders could have envisioned at the beginning of 2020. Harnessing those data-driven opportunities will be the theme of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s annual HPE Discover conference this year.

The conference kicks off June 22 with a keynote by HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri, who will be joined by other business leaders to announce new services and solutions designed to exploit data’s potential in what the company is calling the “age of insight.”

HPE Discover 2021 is being billed as “The Edge-to-Cloud Conference” and will again be delivered virtually, with live and on-demand presentations. To accommodate the flexibility remote participants have come to expect, most of the presentations will be available to view during multiple time slots during the conference and on demand for several weeks afterward.

Data Is Key to Unlocking Insights to Drive Innovation

This year’s event is focused on the tools that will help businesses realize and utilize the potential of data to deliver a competitive edge. Sessions focusing on AI, data analytics and edge computing promise to offer insights on how businesses can leverage innovation to modernize their IT environments.

A Focus on Data Storage and Protection

Learning to unlock the potential of your data in a world of hybrid work will involve new opportunities as well as evolving threats. Speakers from HPE and conference co-sponsor Veeam will share thoughts on how to modernize legacy data protection to better protect your data and be prepared to recover in the event of a malicious attack.

HPE Discover Shines a Light on Social Issues

The conference also will feature sessions highlighting the ways companies can play a role in promoting diversity, inclusion and sustainability. A special session spotlighting women leaders in technology will relate the journeys of trailblazers across a broad spectrum of industries, and a panel on the conference’s final day will focus on unconventional uses of data to build a sustainable future.
