NRF 2025: How AI Is Shaping and Empowering the Retail Industry to Be Smarter and More Efficient
Much of the discussion about AI at NRF 2025: Retail's Big Show in New York City focused on the ways it could improve the consumer experience. But the technology is doing just as much to ease the burden of store associates, who are currently in short supply. Access to customer and product data can streamline their jobs and allow them to deliver the level of support their customers have come to expect.
CDW's Andy Szanger, Gina Cox and Brent Blawat talked about the need for retailers to put data in the hands of their asociates, and they offered suggestions on how that data can drive success, including video content being generated by AI. Other experts, including Paul Woodward of Oracle, Justin Honaman of AWS and Matthew Guiste of Zebra Technologies, touted the AI-fueled tools their companies are offering.
