BizTech's 2012 Must-Read IT Blogs: Nominations Round

The Must-Read IT Blogs list is back for another round, and this time it's more social.

Last year, when we launched the BizTech Must-Read IT Blogs list, we did so by scouring the web and debating the freshman batch of nominees with our editorial team. This year, however, we'd like to open up the process a bit and invite our readers and bloggers to submit their favorite small business or small business technology blogs for consideration in this year's list.

That means part of the list will be selected by our editorial staff and part of the list will be defined by you, our readers. To help get the ball rolling, we've added a few blogs that we have our eyes on for this year's list.

The nominations round runs from today, Aug. 6, through Aug. 16 Aug. 30.

We're using list.ly, a social media tool for submitting and curating lists. In order to add a blog to the list, you must authenticate with either a Twitter or Facebook login. This will let us know that you're a real person and help cut down on spamming. And if you see a blog that you like on the list, feel free to vote them up. The more votes a blog receives, the more likely it is to move on to the next round.

After voting on the nominees is complete, the final list will be published on Sept. 10.

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start submitting your favorite blogs right away! Click the +Add to List button to get started.

UPDATE: Due to popular demand, we've decided to extend the open nominations round all the way to Aug. 30 and eliminate the final nominee round. That means there's additional team to submit more blogs and vote for your favorites!
